Can you carry out non-standard installations?

Yes, we can! In fact, non-standard installations are a forte of The Aerial Guys. How qualified are The Aerial Guys?

All of our skilful aerial engineers are DBS checked and have at least five years of industry experience. The Aerial Guys also have full employer and public liability insurance, so we can safely come on site. We are fully certified Freeview and Freesat installers, as well as being Sky communal systems approved installers. So, as you can see, The Aerial Guys are extremely well qualified to carry out your commercial TV installations or repairs.

How experienced are you with the commercial sector?

The Aerial Guys have several decade’s worth of experience in installing commercial TV screens and commercial satellite dishes. So, we are familiar with the tight deadlines and commercial pressures that are often associated with commercial projects. Can you install Freesat for me?

Yes, of course! Freesat gives you access to more than 200 TV and radio channels, subscription free. To enjoy Freesat, you will either need an existing satellite dish or have a new one installed. Here at The Aerial Guys, we have a huge amount of experience with Freesat installations. We carry all the necessary equipment, so can often carry out your Freesat installation that same day. Can I get Sky TV installed in my flat?

It very much depends on your property management company. Some may not allow the installation of an external satellite dish, while others might be more amenable. Often, a good compromise can be found by way of a communal dish, whereby all residents share the same signal. Again, you may need to lobby your property management company. If successful, The Aerial Guys are Sky communal systems approved installers.

I’ve been refused a Sky installation, can you do it?

Yes, we can! We know how frustrating it can be when you’ve been refused an installation by Sky. Their engineers are constrained by a lot of rules, such as the height of your property or discreet cabling requirements. Thankfully, The Aerial Guys have a bit more freedom to give you the satellite installation you’ve been dreaming about. So, don’t worry if you’ve been turned down by Sky – The Aerial Guys can take care of everything!

Why is my TV reception so poor?

There are any number of factors that could be causing your poor TV reception. These can range from adverse weather conditions, to signal obstructions (like trees and tall buildings) and your distance from the transmitting mast. Can you connect several TVs to my aerial?

Yes, we can. In essence, you can have as many TV’s in as many rooms as you’d like connected to your existing aerial. These are called extra points and, depending on how many extra points you need, The Aerial Guys can fit a suitable sized amplifier to split the aerial signal. Can you repair my TV aerial?

When The Aerial Guys talk about TV repairs we don’t physically carry out repairs on your TV aerial. We’ll assess where the fault in your picture lies. If we can adjust your existing aerial and cabling to improve your picture then we will. However, if your aerial has been damaged, we will need to replace it. Don’t worry though, The Aerial Guys carry a wide range of specialist equipment, so we can often make same day repairs.
